Filmmakers and Intel
I love storytelling. As part of intel.com, there is an entire section of the site devoted to storytelling, What's Inside You. We collect stories from Intel Customers and share them. One of my favorite stories is Mike Landry's Cubicle, a fun short video:
The past few years has seen an explosion of video on the internet. Powerful processors enable more and more people to get creative with their video editings skills, while the social interwebby has provided a publishing platform. While "amateurs" are enabled, let's not forget that the professionals are also enjoying advances in processing power.
Intel's commitment to 3D animation and the futhering of enabling this creative class is evident in the partnership Intel has formed with DreamWorks dubbed Intru3D. While my abilities to create uber-cool videos are seriously lacking, I am looking forward to seeing the films that amateurs and professional create!

Thanks Annie, I came across your article on Google and I share your passion with the art of storytelling! It is really amazing to see how dynamic video content is becoming, even from self professed amatures!
I'm an avid Final Cut Pro user and I have to say that Apple's move to Intel procs was genius. Simply a much better platform for authoring reel - faster scene compilation, and definitely more stable OSX performance!

Dave, it is real fun to see Intel playing a part of the digital revolution (of course I am biased!). Today, intel.com just launched some content devoted to the partnership with Dreamworks, Intru3D. I hope you find the information useful and more importantly, as exciting as I do. Go Monsters! I just hope they bring the Claw back...
