It's neck-and-neck in the What's Inside You contest

I'll admit it, I'm competitive.I come from a very competitive family and I do like to see a little healthy competition from time to time.

Which is why I'm intensely watching the neck-and-neck race going on right now between the top 2 entries in Intel's What's Inside You contest running now.img-wiy-landing-contest.jpg

As of this morning, Andy Poland's "Putting the Band Back Together" story about how he uses his Intel-based Mac Pro to create a band featuring his kids singing the songs has 42 community votes. Closely Behind Andy with 35 community votes is the "Triple Booting" story from "lplasch" who is running 3 different operating systems on a MacBook, which he says he can do thanks to the power of an Intel processor.

I've already voted, but I'm not going to say which is my favorite. Who did you vote for? Your votes are important because they'll help narrow down the contest entries to the top 10. Then a panel of some very cool judges (including Intel Insiders Sarah Austin and Irina Slutsky) will determine the top 3 stories and the winners get some sweet prizes (laptop, cash, Amazon.com gift certificate, etc.).

Better yet, do you have your own story to tell? Why not enter and put yourself in the running for a great new Intel Centrino 2-based laptop or maybe an Intel Atom netbook? It's so easy (really wish I could enter myself).

Go tell your story here.
