Shiny New Gadgets, Intel Insiders at CES 2009

We invited Intel Insider Somewhat Frank Gruber to meet Intel's chief geek CTO Justin Rattner last week in San Francisco to learn about Intel's "Eco-Innovation" research efforts.

That's were we clicked the video record button and asked him about Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which is about a month away.

We've invited the Intel Insiders to join us at the Intel booth on Friday, January 9, 2009.  So now we're all sharing ideas for gettin' the most out of our time together in Vegas.

Somewhat Frank is always full of great ideas and so tapped into cool people behind many of the tech gadgets and trends we'll likely see displayed at the Vegas Convention Center.

Come join Frank and the other Insiders at the Intel booth --  #7153 in the Central Hall of teh Las Vegas Convention Center on Friday.  They'll be test driving all the "shiny new objects" and doing what they do best: capturing and sharing stories about great people and technology. Their blog posts, videos, Twitter posts and Flickr photos will be pulled into the Consumer Electronics Insider site.

One of the things I'm really looking forward to is Intel Chairman Craig Barrett's keynote on Friday, January 9 at 1:00 p.m. More details on the CES 2009 keynotes here. Barrett will share some amazing research figures and practical ideas for using technology to help improved education, health and other human needs around the world.  Some of Barrett's were kicked off at the Intel Developer Forum in August -- check out the Intel Inspire-Empower Challenge.
