48 Entries to Vote for!
Tomorrow at 11:59:00 EST, the What's Inside You Contest will be closing down voting. Right now, there are a total of 48 entries into the Contest.
We had some reports of website issues which prevented some entries from being successfully entered into the Contest. If you experienced this issue, please accept my sincere apologies. Our team did everything we could do and we have not been able to reproduce the problem. Without reproducing the issue, it's difficult to fix it!
[UPDATE] Looks like many of the issues were related to session timeout errors. If you were in the middle of entering a submission and left your form open for more than 1 hour, the website did not offer an error message of any kind. Submissions were lost. We will work to correct this issue in the future.
That being said - personally, I am super excited with the quality of many of the submissions we've received. It's been fun to review each and every submission that has been entered into the Contest. While at this time, we do not have plans to host another Contest, we will be reviewing our options in the coming months. This blog, Inside Scoop, is a great place to keep in touch with the folks here at Intel who would be looking at another Contest opportunity or other mechanism to get you all involved with sharing your experiences with our technology.
Thank you again! Now, go vote for your favorites!

Hi I was just browsing through the top entries and I noticed a lot of talk about using a program to clear your temp. files and vote multiple times for a single entry... obviously this is not very fair. Are you going to do anything about it? ok thanks!

Hello, I usually like to keep a low profile but no need for a program to do that, if you are using Google Chrome Incognito mode you can vote as much times as you want cause it keeps no traces of you, all you have to do is close it then re-open it, i tried it on 2 votes and it worked but still I will not push my project to the top 10.
Good luck everyone !

Tarek and Ethan - thank you for asking the tough questions. Our team has taken these comments into consideration and we are not going to extend the contest or change our rules at this point in the game. As you review the Top 10, please keep in mind that only valid qualified entries will be placed in front of the Judges - this does not include non-US entries. Unfortunately, for this particular contest, only US residents are qualified.
Hope this helps. Best luck.

what do you mean by "valid qualified entries"? you didn't really say what you were going to do about the people who have voted for themselves multiple times from the same computer... Can't you check the IP adresses of the votes?
Jan 22 | Tarek said:
Thanks for your response, but does that mean we can vote for ourselves then?
Jan 22 | Annie said:
Of course!

Ethan - The voting as it is available today stands. If one person votes for themselves multiple times, it stands. We are not going to change our voting mechanism or count based on MAC or IP Address. Valid entries must be from US residents. Several of our current Top 10 are not based in the US and are therefore disqualified according to the rules of the Contest. I hope this clarifies better for you...

Thanks Annie for the explaination. I was curious about the non US entries and was going to ask you, but you beat me to it. :)

In the What's Inside You contest website, i had found an error. The letters "u" and "m" are replaces by the asteric symbol(*), provided 'um' came together. Means, these are the changes
1. Sum ==> S**, Gum ==>G**, Pentium ==> Penti**
In my posting "Circumstances" appeared as "Circ**stances"
Why this happens with Intel?
