I am really lovin' my Netbook
... and not because I work for Intel either. I recently bought the Classmates PC Netbook for my 7 year old daughter just this past Christmas. She absolutely loves it but she can't play it very often. My 3 year old, who has a very strong personality and dominates the relationship, has taken complete ownership of the machine.
Watch this video and notice how she won't look up at me because she is too busy on Nickjr and Disney.
But that's not the reason I love that Netbook. The real reason is that my girls won't be using my brand new HP that I bought in November anymore; and please don't ask why I HAD to buy a new laptop. Okay, I will tell you; it's because they broke my other one - spilled water on the keyboard and completely obliterated the hard drive. Even worse is that I hadn't backed up my data in months and lost it all. So now I am in dictator mode and recently enforced a "no beverage" policy at home when using any computer at any time.On a side note, I am heading off to Vegas tomorrow for CES and was given this Dell Netbook so I can blog easily from the event. I like it because the keyboard is slightly bigger and much easier to use than the Classmates PC. It's a slick design too!

Also, if you are a big fan of the CES show but can't make it to the event, you can check out the Consumer Electronics Insider; a site that aggregates CES related content in the form of blogs, Twitter, Youtube and Flickr. It's updated in real time.
