Intel Insiders See A Fab, Try WiMAX... and more!
Intel Insiders Frank Gruber, Cathy Brooks, Sarah Austin, Tom Foremski, Irina Slutsky and her colleague Kevin took over Portland yesterday, making stops at an Intel manufacturing facility (called a "fab") where we make chipsets, Intel's digital health lab and also the Intel My WiFi lab. They're getting a good taste of Intel and Portland culture!
A few of these guys even tried out Clear's Portland WiMAX network using an Intel-based notebook as they traveled to a Tweet-Up last night at the Green Dragon Bistro and Brew Pub with the Portland Social Media Club.
