What's on Your Bucket List?
The idea of a bucket list was unknown to me before the 2007 film with Jack Nicholson & Morgan Freeman in which a list is created of things they'd like to do before they 'kick the bucket'. That idea now seems to be everywhere. Even Kathy Griffin was talking about it in one of her most recent episodes of "My Life on the D List" when Kathy encourages her mother to create a list. Intel is doing something very similar with Mighty Girl blogger Maggie Mason in which we will sponsor several of her 100 Mighty Life List items over the summer. Maggie's list was originally developed about a year ago. At some point, someone at Intel was made aware of this fun list and wanted to get involved (Intel is a Sponsor of Tomorrow you know). Maggie accepted and the kickoff happened late last week with Maggie crossing off 'Redesign Mighty Girl'. She's also successfully taken and captured video of her debut in tap dancing!
From now through September, Maggie will cross off at least eight more items. What those eight items will be is a mystery so I'd encourage you to check in often on her progress. I will say that you'll likely be surprised at what she's doing. I'll do my best to get photos and videos and post them here too.
What is at the top of your bucket list? I need to think about mine a little more... perhaps a trip to the Greek Isles?

When I first heard about this (through Twitter of course :) ), I just thought, "That is SO cool!" And the idea of a bucket list has been coming up everywhere since I read about Intel sponsoring Maggie. Just this weekend I bid adieu to a friend who quit his job and bought a sailboat with his twin brother to take a sailing trip around South America and possibly the world. (Gotta plug them here, follow @sbrokencompass and sailbrokencompass.com is coming soon!) Makes me want to set some time aside this week to start thinking about and making my own list :)
