Other Than That, Seesmic, Guidewire, LeWeb

With a degree in journalism, the majority of Brooks' two decade career has been spent in broadcast news and business development at Porter Novelli PR. A few years ago, she joined Guidewire Group, an analyst firm focused on emerging markets and technologies, where she hosted I of Innovation, a weekly podcast on the processes and people behind the latest technology trends.

Last year, she worked with Seesmic's owner to develop the program Le Web. It was a platform for Europe's hot new start-ups to showcase their businesses to influential tech industry players.

Brooks also manages Other Than That, a website that provides commentary on the media, social networking, and other major topics of discussion for technologists and entrepreneurs.
