Intel CES 2012 Spotlight: Dr Carlos G. Iglesias

Today in the Intel booth at CES, Dr. Carlos G. Iglesias talked about how Intel-based computers help people in rural Mexico get:
1. Faster access to health care
2. More health care choices
3. Better high quality health care
This type of technology enables doctors who are geographically separated to share information and consult on patient cases. Doctors in one area can send patient charts or individual scans. In real time, the consulting doctor can ask for additional information, such as new ultrasounds and see the updated images in seconds.
