Intel Inside Follow-Up – Movie Lovers Tune In.

Today, I’m going to talk about Intel Insider, what it is, what it does, and why you all should be excited about it. As a movie lover, I’m all for a technology like Intel Insider, which makes the movie watching experience simpler by allowing; one the luxury of watching a high resolution movies on a PC , and two allows for a seamless connection between  PC and  TV set  so that you can buy a film online on your PC but still watch it on the TV.  As my previous blog entry on Generation Y suggested, we are in the process of making this technology appeal to people aged 14-34, what I’m learning as my work progresses, is that this is really a technology that’s going to benefit movie lovers, busy people, busy families, and the younger crowd, and I bet we all fit into at least one of those categories. Imagine it’s a weeknight and that you want to watch that new film that just came out on DVD, but you don’t have time to go pick it up from the store, it’s not yet offered on on-demand, and you aren’t sure if you’re going to love it. You can log in to Best Buy® and instantly get access to reviews, the movie trailer, and choose to purchase the movie. Personally, I like to watch Bollywood films, and I don’t always want to drive for miles to go watch a movie at an Indian theatre, or go hunt for it at my limited selection of Indian video stores, thanks to Intel Insider’s™ partnering with Hungama® I will no longer have this issue, I have the option to watch these movies online with the click of a button.  Furthermore, it is possible that some movies may become available while they are still in theatres, imagine how convenient that is for a busy business person, or a family with young kids that doesn’t want to hire a babysitter every time they want to watch a new movie.  Intel Insider® is for those people who love movies but don’t always have the luxury of going out to the movies, or going to a video store, it is for the busy work people, the busy family, the family with young kids, and even the time-pressed college student, all who want to watch high resolution movies, without the hassle of having to make a lot of extra room in their schedules.
