Intel Partners with Amazon and Wheezy Waiter to Help Schools Across America

Wheezy Waiter (aka video content creator Craig Benzine), one of the most popular video creators on YouTube, created a humorous video that is currently posted to the Amazon.com/Intel PC Store page. If the video secures 200,000 views by Wed., Sept. 14, Intel will donate $25k to DonorsChose.org to help bring technology into classrooms across the country.

Oprah named DonorsChoose.org one of her Ultimate Favorite Things of 2010. Intel isn’t giving out DonorsChoose.org gift cards like Oprah did to audience members last year, but starting Sept. 15, and once the video receives 200,000 views, Intel will make the $25k donation to DonorsChoose.org as part of a campaign called Double Your Impact. This means that whenever a donor finds a tech-related project on the site, their donation will be matched by Intel (up to $500 per project and $25k total).

So, do you have five minutes? Do you want to help support schools across America? Watch the new video with Wheezy Waiter posted to the Amazon.com/Intel PC Store page, check out some of the latest laptops powered by 2nd generation Intel Core processors, and help us donate $25k to DonorsChoose.org.

    Jessica-
I wonder if you happen to have any details about how Intel has helped in Haiti. I am wondering about their corporate giving and if they have any current projects going on there. Thanks for sharing if you have it! Would LOVE to get something like this DonorsChoose project going for our libraries in Haiti!! That would be amazing!!
    Love your blog!
