Irina Slutsky is a well-known web video personality and pseudo-celeb in video blogging circles. She is co-founder and host of Geek Entertainment TV, where she conducts irreverent news interviews. The web video program started as a party joke in 2005, but hit a cord with 800 views its first night. It has a small but loyal following. GETV covers the world of geeks -- including tech geeks, cat geeks, chess geeks, tree geeks, EVERYTHING geeks.

Previously, Slutsky worked for Podtech, bringing her GETV program to the online network, and signed independent creators to PodTech production deals.
 
Slutsky organized the inaugural Vloggies web video awards while at Podtech. The award ceremony - which irreverently celebrates video blogging and podcasting -- morphed into the "Winnies" last November. Slutski was the MC.
 
Irina Slutsky graduated from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and has worked as a traditional newspaper reporter, reinventing herself as a new kind of journalist-entreprenuer-producer.
