PC Relief for the Mom Blogger

How old is your PC?

If your household is like thirty-two percent of the USA, your PC is four or more years old.

Technology has changed quite a bit in those four years, including convertible laptop/tablets, and touchscreen PCs becoming more mainstream experiences.  You can also get a new computer that delivers amazing gains in performance for about $200 less than you probably paid for comparable PC four years ago.

A contest sponsored by Lunchbox, a digital shopper marketing agency, provided Moms with an opportunity to refresh to new PCs.  Lunchbox reached out to influential Mom and savings bloggers and their audiences, asked them to visit the Intel PC refresh page on Walmart’s website, select a qualifying system, and explain why they’d want this model on sites like Winners were chosen at random, and the tone of comments back were like this one from the Stories of Kel blogspot …

Trisha of MomDot.Com shared her recent PC upgrade to a Windows 8, touch-enabled Lenovo system.   In order to increase her on-the-go productivity, after 11 years and a few repairs, she decided it was time to let go of her old PC.  (Trisha notes on her blog “My personal laptop in post was not provided or paid for by this promotion.”)

Check out Trisha’s full write-up:

Nine PCs will be given away, and Lunchbox will contact winners.  Good luck to all who participated!
