Make Noise for Ultrabook!

Who’s got spirit?  I can think of at least 6 colleges that do and they are making a lot of noise for Ultrabooks.  You may be asking yourself what I’m talking about.  Well, over the past few months Intel visited 6 universities (listed below) and asked them to jump, scream, shout, and make noise for a chance to win an Ultrabook.  The two people that made the most noise on each campus (measured by a noise meter) were able to walk away with a brand new Dell Ultrabook.

Between the six colleges, nearly 1,500 students competed in the challenge, while another 40,000 have stopped in to watch the action. And now it’s your turn to participate.  Six videos were prepared of the two loudest students from each college and are now hosted online.  We’re asking you to cast a vote for the college of your choice.   The college with the most votes will receive a 10 devices.  How the mini-makeover is carried out is left up to the college; the Ultrabooks™ could go towards a snazzy student lounge upgrade, a library computer lab renovation, or even be raffled off to students.

Voting is live for the next three weeks.  Which school do you think showed the most spirit?

  •  University of Texas – Austin at “UT Marketplace”
  • Virginia Tech at “Gobblefest”
  • University of Colorado – Denver at “Fall Fest”
  • University of Oregon at “InterMingle”
  • University of California – Davis at “The Buzz”
  • Seton Hall University at “Seton Hall Weekend”
